If you’re looking for a peaceful green escape right in the middle of the city, the Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens is a perfect choice. I was surprised that entry is completely free, considering the variety of plants, animals, and facilities you can see here. The aviary is lovely, and I especially enjoyed spotting the colorful birds and small primates. The gardens are very well maintained, with clear walking paths and shaded benches, making it easy to take a break from the busy Central district. For travelers or locals on a budget, this is an ideal place to recharge without spending a cent. #hkonbudget
