Modern City Gems🏙️

Hong Kong may feel a bit more “mainland” these days, but the city’s classic charm still bangs 🇭🇰👌 These were the key stops that brought the trip to life: insane views, legendary ferries, and a bit of green escape from the urban buzz.
Must-See Places:
The Peak Tower Sky Terrace 428 (1 Lugard Rd, The Peak, opens 10AM–10PM weekdays, 8AM–10PM weekends, HKD 49 admission). Get up here for those iconic skyline snaps—and definitely pay for the “428” terrace. Tip: Sunday mornings are less crowded and the air’s crisp!
The Peak Tower (128 Peak Rd, The Peak, opens 10AM–11PM weekdays and 8AM–11PM weekends). The whole complex is worth a stroll—grab a coffee and watch the city below wake up.
Kowloon Walled City Park (Kowloon City, open daily 6:30AM–11PM). This hidden gem mixes wild history with tranquil gardens. Pack light snacks for a picnic among the ruins!
Star Ferry Pier (中環民光街中環7號渡輪碼頭, open daily 6:30AM–11:30PM). Riding the Star Ferry across Victoria Harbour is non-negotiable for visitors—cheap, scenic, and gives you real HK feels. It’s hands-down the best transit hack in town.
Getting Around: Octopus card makes trams, ferries, and the metro easy. Ferries are the highlight—catch sunset rides for epic photos!
Where to Eat & Stay: The Sheraton is solid for comfort and location (easy access to both Kowloon and Central). For food, hit up Wan Chai for street noodles or Tsim Sha Tsui for dim sum. Flying in? Thai Airways was a smooth ride, definitely recommend.
Pro Hong Kong tips: English signage everywhere. Weather’s humid—bring light clothes. Most places take cards but cash still rules at small stalls.
