I'm sure many of us, like us, love restaurants with sea views, floor-to-ceiling windows, and admiring the stunning views from above. The restaurant at the One in Tsim Sha Tsui has it all.
This time, my younger brother and I chose this award-winning Western restaurant. The tranquil environment and excellent service are exactly what I long for.
As for the food:
Appetizers
🌟CRISPY PARMA HAM MELON
Usually, honeydew melon with Parma ham comes in a whole piece, but this recipe uses crumbled Parma ham and deep-fried it onto a thin, square piece of honeydew melon. The super crispy, salty texture combined with the juicy, sweet, and crunchy honeydew melon is incredibly refreshing.
🌟CRAB CAKE
As a crab lover, the crab meat combined with the other ingredients brings out the freshness of the seafood.
Main Course
🌟HOKKAIDO SCALLOP PASTA
Large, fresh scallops topped with cream pasta are a favorite of mine, but I found the pasta a bit tough and dry. A little extra cooking for half a minute and a bit more juice would have been a plus.
🌟GRILLED NEW ZEALAND BEEF TENDERLOIN (170g)
This rich foie gras paired with tenderloin and mashed potatoes was excellent. Because we had children, we chose medium-rare, but the tenderness of the tenderloin was still intact, making it just right.
Dessert
🌟STRAWBERRY MOUSSE DAMES with jelly
The dessert was both sweet and sour, very appetizing, and smooth without being overly sweet.
