Just got down from a cruise – first time trying to ride a cruise, and it’s still a temporary decision on a holiday itinerary! The whole journey is 5 days and 4 nights. On the third day, you can get off the boat in Ha Lung Bay and play ashore ~😆

💰About costs
We booked a double room on the balcony, which was really good. In the room, we can enjoy the sea breeze 🌬️, see the sea view 🌊, sunbathe ☀️, and watch the sunrise and sunset 🌅. The allocated room is closer to the side, easy to get in and out 👍. The cost includes room and shipping fees, as well as round-trip port shuttle tickets🚌.
All prices on board are calculated in dollars💵, visa fees and service fees must be paid on board, other consumption is recorded with room card, and fellow roommates can be settled together ~

📶 About the Web
We didn’t have much access to the high seas on this route, so we didn’t buy a network. In fact, the signal on board and at sea is quite poor📵, the main places with signals are Hong Kong Pier, Qiongzhou Strait and Halong Bay. It is recommended to download movies 🎬, series 📺 in advance, and spend time in the recliner with the sea breeze ~😌

🍽️ About catering
There are two free restaurants on board: "Lido" and "Oriental", and there is actually a third "Peninsula", but only for suite guests. Lidu is a buffet with super many dishes😋; Oriental is like a Western restaurant, with daily packages (appetizers, main courses, desserts, fruits🍰🍓), according to the number of people. I heard Peninsula, like Oriental products, is made in the central kitchen.
I personally like Lido more🤩, most of the dishes in the East can be eaten in Lido, and Lido has many choices and you can eat as much as you want, and there is also supper🌙 ~ It is said that the average person on board eats 16 meals! Haven't tried the paid restaurant, but I've seen that the prices are reasonable and you don't have to worry about eating at all.
On the first day, the boat leaves at 5pm🚢, but you can already board at 1:30pm. You can eat directly on the boat for lunch🍴. There are two bottles of water in the room, but they will not be replenished. You can bring your own kettle to the restaurant to get water💧

🍸 About entertainment
There is a bar 🍹 in each performance hall or poolside, one day there will be a special event, some cocktails at discounted prices, quite cheap ~
There are complete facilities on board💃, concentrated on the 6th, 7th, 8th and 12th floors, with cinemas🎥, swimming pools🏊♀️, mahjong🀄️, song and dance performances🎭, games🎲, band🎶, gym💪, duty-free shop🛍️, library📚, etc.~
There are performances every night, the opening show and circus show are exciting👏, then you can listen to the band playing, different styles and you can order songs🎤

💡About other
It turns out that most cruise employees are on contract 📑, working for 7-8 consecutive months without holidays, then taking a month or two off to sign a new contract, it's really hard ~😮💨
