HKTB’s “Hong Kong Winter Festival” presents two great gifts to welcome Christmas and New Year

The Hong Kong Tourism Board announced (November 24) that it will give two major "winter gifts" to residents and tourists. The annual "Hong Kong Colorful Winter Tour" will kick off tomorrow, presenting the city's must-visit Christmas check-in hotspots from November 25, 2022 to January 1, 2023. The stunning Victoria Harbour view combined with a giant Christmas tree over 6 stories high lighting up the seaside, bringing a coastal European Christmas town full of romance and joy; on New Year's Eve, there will be a New Year's Eve countdown event with Victoria Harbour as the stage, spreading a joyful atmosphere throughout the city, making Hong Kong one of the cities with the best Christmas and New Year's Eve atmosphere in Asia.

This year, we have expanded the scale, with the tallest outdoor giant Christmas tree in Hong Kong with Victoria Harbour views, plus 8 themed Christmas huts in the quirky Christmas Village during Christmas. Every place has become a unique check-in hotspot, and we have provided everyone with a series of unique programs to show global tourists how lively Hong Kong is in celebrating Christmas and New Year."

The giant Christmas tree is over 20 meters high, equivalent to more than 6 stories high. It is the tallest outdoor Christmas tree in the city.
