A laid-back outdoor Thai restaurant, great for weekend chilling

彩軒園林茶館 Country Inn is located at the beginning of the winding road to Sai Kung from Ma On Shan - if you’re heading to Sai Kung for seafood dinner during the weekend, why not stop here and enjoy drinks and a snack in this quiet outdoor cafe?

In the past you’d notice the restaurant with its neighboring 西沙茶座 easily, with their resort style decor and alfresco seating standing out, especially with the lights on in the evening. But now with the road works in the neighborhood they are easy to be missed.

Even on weekends you can still order from their afternoon tea set menu (2-5pm, prices $39-$69) and enjoy Hong Kong Chachantin style food or Thai noodles, drink included. Food quality is good but would be pricer during other times, so it’s my recommendation to try their afternoon tea set menu!
