Korean food and drink

📍Seoul 5-Day 4-Night Snack Diary|A perfect trip of eating, drinking, taking photos and walking
I didn’t visit too many attractions this time, I just ate and strolled slowly, and packed all the alleys, coffee aroma and market flavors that I like into my suitcase🧳

Day 1: Arrived in Hongdae and got familiar with the streets

🛬Go straight to Hongdae as soon as I got off the plane. The familiar and lively streets are still the best for the first day
🍗 Eat spicy rice cakes, spicy chicken, and seaweed rice rolls
🧢 Browsed some Korean selections and took a few photos of the sunset on the roadside
🍺 Found an industrial-style bar to have a drink in the evening. The street performers’ performances were super atmospheric!

Day 2: Seongsu-dong is full of hipsters⚪️

☕️ Every cafe is very well designed, and there are surprises wherever you go
🥐 I had delicious croissants at Layer57 and took photos at Daelim Changgo
📚 In the afternoon, I went into a selection store that only sells plants, specimens and illustrated books
🧃 I sat in the mottled old house of Café Onion for an afternoon, it was a paradise for hipsters

Day 3: A paradise for market lovers - Tongin Market + Gwangjang Market

🥢 I almost cried when I went to Tongin Market in the morning, the spicy fried pork with white rice was really delicious
🍜 In the afternoon, I went to Gwangjang Market and ate everything from mung bean pancakes to numbing rice rolls
📸 The old signs, stalls and human touch in the market, every photo looks like a scene from a Korean drama
👟 In the evening, I took a walk to the nearby Cheonggyecheon Stream and watched the sunset very comfortably

Day 4: Gyeongbokgung Palace & Bukchon, feel time slow down

🏯 Wearing hanbok to Gyeongbokgung Palace early in the morning, the sunlight and the palace wall are perfect for taking photos
🏘 Then walk into Bukchon Hanok Village, it’s as quiet as traveling through time and space
🍵 In the afternoon, I drank grapefruit tea and ate glutinous rice cakes in a traditional tea house, which was super ritual
📷 There are small corners everywhere where you want to stop and take photos, from the buildings to the tiles, they are all beautiful

Day 5: End of the short trip, say goodbye in the aroma of coffee

📍 On the last day, go to Hongdae to eat my favorite rice cakes + Korean breakfast again
☁️ Before returning to the airport, I specially went to a small fresh cafe to sit and relax
🎁 The suitcase is full of trophies, postcards and many memories
🧳 I thought to myself: "When will I come again next time?"

🎈This trip was not a rush, nor did we try to catch all the attractions, but I ate well at every location, took beautiful photos, and quietly felt the atmosphere of life.
Recommended for those who like to fall in love with a city while walking, watching, and eating🫶
