Here I come, vast prairie! The boundless grassland is so photogenic.

My destination on this trip is the Grassland Volcano Hot Spring Resort, hidden deep in the prairie at the foot of a volcano. Before I even arrived, I could see from afar that the hotel's architecture seemed to grow naturally from the grassland. The low-rise silhouette blends into the skyline, and the rugged stone exterior walls complement the surrounding volcanic landscape.
I checked in to a deluxe room with a grassland view. The moment I opened the door, I was amazed by the scene before me: a floor-to-ceiling window covering the entire wall brought the boundless beauty of the grassland into the room. The sunlight shone on the soft carpet, and the room was filled with a faint lavender scent. The room was spacious and fully equipped. To my surprise, there was a private hot spring tub on the balcony!
After putting down my luggage, I couldn't wait to go to the hotel restaurant for lunch. The restaurant specializes in Mongolian and Western cuisine. I ordered the signature grassland mutton and milk tea. The mutton was rich but not greasy, and the milk tea was fragrant and mellow, which I, a southerner, enjoyed very much. The restaurant also offers a buffet breakfast, which is rich in variety and fresh ingredients, enough to start a day full of energy.
In the afternoon, I participated in a grassland hiking activity organized by the hotel. Led by a professional guide, we crossed the grassland and climbed the volcano to experience the wonders of nature up close. In the evening, we returned to the hotel and relaxed in the outdoor hot spring pool. The hot spring water comes from deep underground and is rich in minerals. Soaking in it makes you feel like all your fatigue has disappeared.
As night fell, the hotel's bonfire party arrived as scheduled. Tourists from all over the world sat around the bonfire, enjoying Mongolian song and dance performances, tasting roasted whole lamb, and laughter echoed in the night sky of the grassland.
