Introduction: Hsinchu Public Hall is a historical building located at No. 110, Wuchang Street, Hsinchu City, Taiwan. Construction of the Hsinchu Public Hall began in 1920 and was completed in 1921 at a cost of 74,593 yen. After the war, Hsinchu Public Hall was renamed Hsinchu County Government Zhongshan Hall. In 1955, the Taiwan Provincial Hsinchu Social Education Center opened and borrowed the Hsinchu County Government's Zhongshan Hall as a venue for activities. It also added buildings several times, causing the Hsinchu Public Hall building during the Japanese colonial period in Taiwan to be covered by other buildings. In 2009, the Hsinchu Social Education Center was renamed the National Hsinchu Living Aesthetics Center and continued to use the Hsinchu Public Hall as the venue for activities. Hsinchu Public Hall was listed as a cultural asset of Hsinchu City in 2011 and registered as a historical building. The "Hsinchu Public Hall Complex Restoration and Reuse Project" started on March 11, 2019, was completed on September 5, 2022, and will reopen on October 22, 2022, restoring the century-old splendor of the Hsinchu Public Hall.

Comments: This place has a history of a hundred years. It was formerly a public hall from the Japanese era, used for local meetings and gatherings. Now it has been changed into a museum of life aesthetics. The old house has been transformed and some art and cultural works are often exhibited inside. It is a popular check-in spot for literary youths, suitable for the whole family to experience the charm of the old house.
