Zhudong Town is one of my favorite towns because I came here to play volleyball when I was in junior high school. It was also the farthest place I had ever been to at that time. There is a Xiao Rushong Art Park in Zhudong Town, which was transformed from Xiao Rushong’s former residence into an art park. Opened in 2008, it is an important venue for arts and cultural performances in the Zhudong area. I took advantage of the 228 holiday to camp in Wufeng Township. After the camping, I came to Zhudong Township and visited the park before returning to Pingtung. The park is composed of five Japanese-style houses, namely Gusongju, Songhualu, Songhelu, Songyantang and Songxianglu. Each building has its own function, including art and cultural performance space, management office, coffee garden and literary gifts, etc. The entire park is not very big. Although it is a consecutive holiday, there are not many tourists in the park, so it is quite relaxing to walk around and no one will rush to take pictures when taking pictures. Originally, no admission fee was charged on Mondays, but because of consecutive holidays, tickets are still required for admission. And don't throw away your ticket, as it can be exchanged for a delicious fruit ice cream in a variety of flavors. (20210301)
