Khao Itisukto Temple

Wat Khao Itisukto is located in Hua Hin Subdistrict, Hua Hin District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. It is a temple under the Mahanikaya sect, built around 1937. It used to be a hermitage when Luang Pho Opasi went on a pilgrimage and found this place. He saw that it was a suitable place for meditation. So he consulted Luang Pho Kob, a fellow Dharma friend, that this place should build a hermitage. So the temple was built.
It is a peaceful temple because this temple is a meditation temple. It is open to people to meditate all the time. It is quite quiet, spacious, and the church is very beautiful. You are not allowed to make noise when entering. Walking up the church stairs is a bit tiring, but you can see the sea.
