Every trip to Thailand brings new surprises, and this past May holiday was no exception! I chose Hua Hin, a slightly lesser-known coastal city that's a favorite getaway spot for many locals, just a 3-4 hour drive from Bangkok.
The biggest highlight of this trip was definitely the Let's Sea Hua Hin Al Fresco Resort. At an average price of around 1,000 RMB per night (around S$190-200), I found its service, spa, and dining far surpassed many five-star resorts I've experienced back home.
My room was fantastic – the balcony opened directly onto the swimming pool! This kind of room access is truly a rare find and so unique. It meant I could jump into the water whenever I felt like it.
Since the hotel doesn't have many rooms, the staff genuinely remembered my name and room number. They were incredible, anticipating our needs and arranging everything perfectly. We could enjoy all our dining, drinks, and activities right within the hotel.
During my stay, there happened to be a jazz festival, and the hotel brought in a band to perform at the beachfront restaurant in the evenings and mornings. It was such a chill and relaxing atmosphere! Plus, the famous Cicada Market was just a five or six-minute walk from the hotel, making it easy to explore.
Finally, you absolutely cannot miss the hotel's spa. It was, without a doubt, the most comfortable and relaxing spa experience I had in Hua Hin!
