Longwen Pagoda, located on Heming Mountain in Buwen Town, Longwen District, Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province, is a landmark of the ancient city of Zhangzhou. Constructed on Longwen Mountain, it sits at the western corner of the southern city wall. According to the Zhangzhou Prefecture and County Chronicles, in the Yiwei year of the Ming Dynasty Jiajing reign (1535), the county magistrate Liu Tianshou built a stone pagoda atop it. The pagoda was later abandoned and rebuilt in the tenth year of the Qing Dynasty Yongzheng reign (1732).
