Hua Hin is not fun, but it's delicious‼️

#HuaHinTravel Hua Hin isn't fun, but it's delicious!

I spent a week in Hua Hin. It felt like a senior citizen's club. 80% of the people there are elderly white men, and there aren't many places of particular interest.

I've been to many cities in Thailand, but for me, Hua Hin was the most boring. The sea views were bland, and the many attractions I mentioned were a rip-off. Many of them are easily explored in three minutes.

The only positive thing about Hua Hin is the food. From the night market stalls to the restaurants and bars, nothing disappoints, and the prices are about half of those in Bangkok.

Recommended Restaurants I've Eaten in Hua Hin

📍THREE DOTS & A DASH (Pages 1-2)
This bar is surprisingly good. The sweet drinks are not only delicious, but the food is also excellent. You can ask the staff for recommendations based on your sweet drinks, and try them all and choose your favorite. The food and snacks are both delicious, and there's a live band playing in the evenings, making it a popular hangout spot for locals.

📍Pae Mai Thursday Market (Page 3)
This large night market is full of a variety of Thai snacks, almost anything you can imagine. Since it's a night market, not a typical market, the prices aren't too expensive. There's so much variety to choose from, it's hard to choose. There's also a beer garden and a large patio area where you can sit and eat, complete with live music. Highly recommended for those looking to try a variety of Thai food at once.

📍SRNA Coffee (pages 4-5)
My Dirty Coffee was the best I've ever had. If I go back, I'll definitely want to try this Dirty Coffee. I also ordered other coffees, and the taste was average. The desserts were okay. Although takeout is available, there are seats near the entrance for some drinks.

📍Huai Sai Kitchen (pages 6-7)
I can honestly say this Michelin-starred restaurant is truly delicious, and the ingredients are fresh! I went around 2:00 PM, and there was already a long line. However, there were plenty of seats and a large crowd, and the service was fast. The menu is entirely in Thai, with almost no pictures, so you have to rely on translations. You definitely have to order the cheese scallops, which are not greasy at all.

📍Kraprao Hom (page 8)
Shaxian also offers a wide selection of "rice bowls" (rice bowls) and is served quickly and very cheaply, just over ten yuan per plate. The taste is also incredibly delicious. It could be used as a cafeteria any day.

📍Goti Restaurant (Pages 9-11)
I've been there twice. Lunch was quiet, but dinner was packed, so service was a bit slow. While not everything is delicious, it's worth a try, having been open since 1932. I highly recommend the egg fried rice! 🤣 It's incredibly fragrant and delicious.
