I was in Hua Hin, focusing on sightseeing, so I chose a budget hotel. I ended up staying at IBIS Hua Hin for just 1,000 baht, not including breakfast, because I wanted to eat out anyway. The room had all the amenities I needed, the bed was soft and comfortable, and the air conditioning was cool. I was so happy!
From the accommodation, you can walk down a side alley to the beach. The atmosphere is great. A 750-meter walk is to Cicada Market and many restaurants. Overall, I was very impressed. If you're looking for budget accommodation focused on sightseeing, this is the place for you. Pets are also welcome.
