Review of the Pool Villa at the Ibis Budget Hong Kong Island Hotel. Room name: 1 Beach Club Beach Villa

The 169 sq m pool villa is inspired by the décor of Mrigadayavan Palace.

It comes with a large private swimming pool, 1.40 meters deep and approximately 13 meters long, perfect for a serious swim. The living room and bedroom are both a good size. The bathroom includes a large, perfectly designed Jacuzzi, perfect for two people to comfortably soak in.

The view from the room is beyond words. The villa itself is right on the beach, offering stunning views and privacy. You can even walk down from your room to the beach.

The Villa room type offers additional privileges: you can order afternoon tea, evening cocktails, and a floating breakfast to enjoy in the privacy of your villa, without having to go to the club. I ordered afternoon tea and a floating breakfast in my villa, and during evening cocktails, I went to the club because I wanted to enjoy the music.
(There's a singer and music at the club on Fridays and Saturdays.)

The staff are also excellent. The hotel now has its own train for guests to enjoy.

The villa is pet-friendly.
