Shen Kun's Mansion ➡
Located in Hexia Ancient Town, the entrance fee is CNY 30. The mansion is divided into many areas 💥, and introduces the old house and garden of Shen Kun during the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty 💫. There are many places to take photos.
Huai'an Prefecture
The entrance fee is CNY 35. The real crime scene of "The Injustice to Dou E" is here, and there are many displays of ancient torture devices.
Hexia Ancient Town
Free. It is a quaint Jiangnan ancient town 🐾, and also an old street with a lively atmosphere ⭐. There are also popular hairpins 🌸, which are great for photos 🌞.
Zhou Enlai Memorial Hall
Free. It displays the great deeds of Premier Zhou's life and is well worth a visit.
Dinner at Hefuyuan 🍲
I was clapping my hands 👏 It was so delicious and just to my taste.
I ordered the Northern Jiangsu White Cut Chicken 🌝, which is worth recommending. The golden color is very tempting ☀, and the skin is crispy and the meat is tender. It is very fragrant with the sauce 🤩.
The soft eel was also good 👏, and is an authentic Huaiyang dish 😁. The eel is the long fish, and is the top of the Huaiyang cuisine 💯. The fish is very filling, and has been deboned. It is light and mellow, and full of Huaiyang flavor 😋.
Vegetables are also a must, so I ordered a portion of Pingqiao Tofu 🔥, which is smooth and warm, and very good 👍
I had a bowl of rice 🍚, mainly because the dishes were really to my taste and very delicious 🤤. I felt so tired, but I really like Huai'an 🌆, and this stop is worth remembering 📝
