Located in Huai'an District, Huai'an City, Jiangsu Province, the Huai'an Prefecture Office is the largest prefecture office in Jiangsu.
Originally built in the third year of the Hongwu reign of the Ming Dynasty (1370), it remained in use until the late Qing Dynasty, boasting a history of over 640 years.
🌟Highlights: The Huai'an Prefecture Office features a unique and magnificent architectural style. Its main hall stands 10 meters tall and covers an area of over 500 square meters, making it the largest main hall among all prefecture offices in China. In addition, the office complex includes numerous structures such as the Shengyu Stone Archway, the Paifang Gate, the Yimen Gate, the Second Hall, the Third Hall, and east and west wing rooms, all meticulously arranged and functionally distinct.
