Who would have thought! A stray cat charity island that can only be reached by boat, it’s the ultimate healing place for cat lovers😭 The moment you step on the island, you’re surrounded by soft furry friends, and all your worries just melt away!
📍Address: Baima Lake, Huai'an District, Huai'an City, "Three Islands Adventure"
🎫Tickets: 88 RMB/person (includes round-trip boat ticket, valid for all three islands)
⏰Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (last entry at 4:30 PM, last return boat at 5:00 PM)
🚗Transportation: Drive and navigate to "Three Islands Adventure" with free parking available; a taxi from downtown takes about 40 minutes and costs around 50 RMB
3 Must-Do Healing Activities
1. Take Comic-Style Photos with Giant Cat Sculptures
The 30-meter-long green giant cat is super photogenic! Wear light or bright colors and stand by the lawn; the 3 PM light naturally adds a soft filter, and the reeds by the dock are a hidden photo spot. There’s also a 12-meter-tall purple copper lucky cat—every snap looks like a fairy tale cover.
2. Immersive Cat Petting Interaction
The island is home to 72 cats, all named “locals.” “Mahua” stands up to snatch snacks, “White Gloves” always naps in the shade. Bringing cat treats or freeze-dried snacks quickly wins their affection. In the cat petting area and cat café, the cats take turns “serving guests.” The cat petting corridor at sunset is breathtakingly beautiful.
3. Explore the Cat-Themed Cultural and Creative Shop
There are lots of cute souvenirs to buy. Postcards feature each cat’s portrait, and buying exclusive cat food to feed them unlocks special cat interaction surprises.
Avoid Pitfalls & Useful Tips⚠️
• Be sure to go in the morning! Cats are energetic then; in the afternoon, it’s crowded and the cats tend to hide and nap.
• Wear comfortable flat shoes (the whole island is walkable) and clothes that don’t attract fur. Bring mosquito repellent and sunscreen.
• Pet cats politely! Don’t forcibly pick them up. Some cats are shy; respecting them is true love for cats.
• Food on the island is average; it’s recommended to bring your own snacks. After leaving the island, try the “Fisherman’s Wharf Fish Head Soup” with its milky white broth that’s incredibly fresh.
This is not just a tourist spot but home to over 100 stray cats. Watching them go from timid to affectionate makes you understand how warm the cat world’s creed of “love and freedom” really is. May every furry friend have their own fairy tale island✨
