Taroko National Park - Taiwan

🏔️ Taroko National Park is located in Hualien. It may be difficult to find on the map, but it is actually only a 2:30-hour train ride from Taipei.
🚞 You can charter a car or buy a 1-day tour from Trip.com. You can either travel from Taipei or start the tour in Hualien. Personally, we started in Hualien. If you are coming from Taipei, I recommend booking the earliest train. There are many trains to choose from. I recommend leaving 15-20 minutes before the meeting time. When you arrive, the guide will be waiting in front of the station. The tour will cover more points than taking the park's bus.
Most tour stops are like this:
- Qingshui Cliff, the point where the mountain meets the sea
- Changchun Shine, the temple in the middle of the valley
- Swallow Grotto, the stone tunnel along the river
- Qixingtan Beach, the pebble beach. The wind is very strong, so it is recommended to wear a windbreaker
The mountain view is so magnificent that we feel like we are left with nothing. It's so worth it. Each season gives a different atmosphere. We went in late November when the weather was cool and there was some rain. If anyone comes to Taiwan, I'd like you to try to set aside a day to come here. 🏞️
