Huangshan Tian Du Peak has reopened! As one of Huangshan's three main peaks, the notoriously steep Tian Du Peak is a must-visit for hiking enthusiasts. The latest opening policy allows 3,000 visitors daily from April to November each year with an online reservation system. It's recommended to book tickets at least 3 days in advance!
🚶♂️Recommended Route:
The easiest ascent starts from Ciguang Pavilion entrance
Pass by Banshan Temple - Longpan Slope - Tian Du Peak Station, reaching the summit in about 3 hours
For descent, take the Yuping Cableway (closes at 17:30, plan accordingly)
🌟Highlights:
1️⃣Spectacular Peaks: Don't miss unique natural sights like Carp Back Ridge, Golden Rooster Crows at Heaven's Gate, and Immortal Pointing the Way - perfect photo spots
2️⃣Sea of Clouds: Most likely to appear at dawn or after rain, creating dreamy views
3️⃣Greeting Pine: The world-famous Welcoming Pine is located near Tian Du Peak
🍽️Dining Tips:
Yupinglou Restaurant at the summit offers lunch (try local specialties like Huangshan stinky mandarin fish and hairy tofu)
Bring your own snacks and water (prices are higher on the mountain)
🏨Accommodation Suggestions:
For sunrise photography, stay at Baiyun Hotel or Yupinglou Hotel at the summit (book 1 month in advance)
Hotels in Tangkou Town at the base offer better value and more options
📌Practical Tips:
1️⃣Wear anti-slip sports shoes as some sections are steep
2️⃣Bring a 2L backpack with sunscreen, raincoat, etc.
3️⃣Hiking poles are helpful, especially for those with limited stamina
4️⃣Best photography time: 9-11am for optimal lighting
We'll be waiting for you here! Thanks for your encouragement - we'll keep working hard!
