Huaying Mountain Baoding Guangming Temple—Sea of Clouds

Baoding Guangming Temple is a Buddhist temple with a long history located on Baoding Mountain in Xikou Town, Huaying City, Sichuan Province, China. It was first built in the second year of the Tang Dynasty (AD 757), and has a history of nearly 1,300 years. Originally, the temple was called Ruifeng Zen Temple, and later renamed Guangming Temple during the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty, a name that has been used ever since.

The temple is located on the main peak of Huaying Mountain, at an altitude of 1,586 meters, surrounded by mountains and beautiful scenery. It is not only a Buddhist holy place, but also a natural scenic area for tourism, summer vacation, and leisure, and a great place to see the sea of clouds, sunrise, and sunset.

🎫 Temple Ticket: CNY 6/person. If you want to burn incense, you can buy it outside and bring it in. It is also sold in the temple, ranging from more than 10 yuan to hundreds of yuan.
