Huizhou Shuangyue Bay Vacation Guide: Enjoy the mountains, water, and sunset. I went to Shuangyue Bay for a vacation a few days before the Spring Festival. There were few people, beautiful scenery, and a pleasant atmosphere. This article is for those who plan to vacation in Shuangyue Bay but are afraid of being disappointed.
Food
- Gangkou Town Night Market:
Akang Grilled Chicken Wings, 1+1 Sweet Soup, Handmade Old Bread... The whole street is full of food. Navigate to "Market Supervision and Management" and walk in. - Xincun:
Eat at Xixing Restaurant! It's full of locals, has a great atmosphere, and serves local dishes. Fried Nine-banded Fish, Sea Urchin Fried Rice, Squid Tube with Sauce, Taro Octopus, and Squid Cake are all delicious.
- Pinghai Port:
If you like beaches with few people, you can check out the beaches near Pinghai Port. They are pristine wild beaches with good water quality and fine sand that feels comfortable underfoot. Although you can't swim, it's very pleasant to wade in the water and sunbathe when the weather is good.
Turtle Bay:
If you like scenery with reefs, roads, cliffs, and bays, you can come to Turtle Bay! The commercial and ecological development here is just right, and there are many delicious foods.
- Reef Bar (requires a ticket + queuing for photos at small attractions)
Hotel
This time I stayed at Yunding Taili near Pinghai Port, and I can only give it 3.5 stars. There are still many hotels and homestays to choose from nearby.
Fortunately, this hotel is located in a relatively high place, and you need to walk a section of the mountain road, so the view is wide and the scenery is good. Unfortunately, the hotel facilities and services are not up to standard, and the food and room facilities are not perfect, but the sea view is really beautiful when the weather is good!
Travel
It is recommended to drive by yourself. It's hard to get a taxi in Shuangyue Bay. In addition, most places charge for parking, such as Turtle Bay and Reef Bar, which require tickets. Huizhou, Guangdong
