Introduction: Donghu Hotel is a building located in Huicheng District, Huizhou City, Guangdong Province, People's Republic of China. It was built in 1935. The building was originally a private residence, and was later converted into a hotel during the Anti-Japanese War. It also served as the main pick-up and drop-off station during the "Canton-Hong Kong Rescue" from late 1941 to early 1942. Currently, the building is the site of the Rescue of Chinese Cultural Celebrities Exhibition Hall. On December 31, 2020, the Huizhou Municipal People's Government announced that it was selected as the seventh batch of Huizhou Municipal Cultural Relics Protection List. On July 28, 2022, the People's Government of Guangdong Province announced that it was upgraded to the tenth batch of Guangdong Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Units.

Thoughts: This memorial hall can be said to be a very meaningful one. Because it was here that many celebrities who made contributions to China were saved. You can also learn through the visit that the social unrest at that time was beyond our imagination. So now we are really very happy.
