I had dinner at a farmhouse in Huizhou (fruit garden farmhouse), next to which were lychee and longan trees. The boss picked a handful directly from the tree for me to try. This was the first time for a Shanghainese to eat jade-like lychees picked directly from the tree!

Oh my god, they are sweet and tender~ What are those pure white sour and slag ones I ate before!
