Weekend Bay Area Staycation Plan: A New Urban Vacation Landmark

It was my first time booking the Hilton Huizhou Zhonghai, and it was effortless.
Unlike some hotels that have eye-catching signs from afar,
this one feels like it has always been here. Walking along the street,
it blends slowly with the surrounding shopping district and river view,
without any sense of being an "outsider," more like a place where you can feel at ease and rest.

The best part about staying here is the location.
In the afternoon, if you have free time, you can slip on your sneakers and stroll to the mall, grab a coffee, and sit by the roadside to relax;
if you want to shop, Huamao Center is just a 5-minute walk away, no need to squeeze into the subway or wait for the bus, very convenient.

The moment I entered the lobby, my tired nerves suddenly relaxed.
The high-ceilinged space is very bright, sunlight streams through the glass roof,
casting soft shadows on the floor. It looks grand but not cold.
The crystal chandelier overhead is exquisite, bright but not dazzling, the warm light falls on you,
like a gentle pat on the shoulder, instantly easing much of the travel fatigue.
At the corner of the lobby, I suddenly encountered a full wall of floor-to-ceiling windows — the Dongjiang River sparkled,
framed like a painting in glass. Standing here to enjoy the river view is very pleasant.

What I miss most is the "Sapphire" pool on the top floor.
This place is truly photogenic, with the river view, sunset, and pool as the backdrop,
any snap looks great.
I like coming to the pool in the morning or evening; it feels different each time.

The view from the room was a pleasant surprise. I booked a river view room, and opening the window revealed the Dongjiang River.
In the evening, sitting on the sofa by the window, the slanting sunlight pours in,
falling on the bed and desk, warm and cozy, adding to the vacation comfort.

Waking up early in the morning, I drew the curtains to see a thin mist floating over the river,
the distant bridge and trees shrouded in a veil, peaceful and quiet;
at night, the lights along the riverbank turn on one by one,
tiny lights reflected in the water, very healing to watch.

On the day of checkout, I got up earlier than usual.
After packing, I stood by the window to look at the river view again.
This stay wasn’t about hiding from work or escaping life,
but about finding a place to "take back" the part of myself overwhelmed by trivial matters,
and quietly stay for a while.
