⛰【Travel Guide】The Luding Mountain Scenic Area in the Greater Khingan Range is based on the story of The Deer and the Cauldron, relying on martial arts culture, and featuring elements such as 'strange pines, peculiar rocks, divine springs, and clouds.' Luding Mountain was originally named 'Huma'erwoji Mountain,' and was renamed due to its geographical location and topography matching the treasure site described in Jin Yong's martial arts novel The Deer and the Cauldron. Later, Jin Yong himself inscribed the three characters 'Luding Mountain' to confirm this.
📍Detailed Address: At the confluence of the Emur River and the Heilongjiang River, north of Heilongjiang Province, China > Heilongjiang Province > Greater Khingan Range > Huma County
🚗Transportation Guide: Drive yourself. Once you reach Huma County, navigate to Luding Mountain to reach the mountain top.
🕙Opening Hours: 8:00-16:30
💰Ticket Price: 50 yuan
🌟Highlights: The mountain scenic area includes the Jin Xia Memorial Park, the Deer and the Cauldron Cultural Park, and the Manchu Qing Grand Market. The 'Deer and the Cauldron Cultural Park' is the main tourist area of the Luding Mountain Scenic Area, representing the culture of the novel The Deer and the Cauldron. The entire park consists of three tour routes, three viewing platforms, and eleven interesting spots. The three tour routes are the scene tour route, the story tour route, and the viewing tour route; the three viewing platforms are Wanglongtai, Qulongjian, and Shenlongding. The eleven spots are interspersed among them, allowing visitors to relive the novel The Deer and the Cauldron through these scenes.
📌Tips: Actually, there's no need to go down the mountain. One reason is that there are many bugs, and another is that there's nothing much to see at the foot of the mountain. Going down means you have to climb back up, so keep that in mind.
