The Origin of the Legend of Urashima Taro - Ryugu Shrine and Nagasakibana

Ryugu Shrine is located at Satsuma Nagasakibana in Kagoshima.
Although it is not easy to reach, the scenery where the sea meets the sky is very beautiful.
In addition to the vermilion torii gate reflecting the sea, you can also see Kaimondake and Iwo Jima in the distance.
This time, I was super lucky to capture the smoking Iwo Jima~

Ryugu Shrine is the origin of the legend of Urashima Taro, so prayers for love connections are especially effective.
Moreover, the entire shrine building is very special, giving off a fairy tale vibe at first glance.
The ema (votive plaques) are also quite unique, using shells instead! It is said to be super effective.

After visiting the shrine, head towards the lighthouse, passing through the auspicious spot of Nagasakibana.
There are also Chinese prayer instructions, which are very considerate~ Don't forget to make a wish when you pass by.
At the lighthouse, you can take a photo with Kaimondake.
You can also walk down to take pictures of Iwo Jima in the distance.
