This shrine in Ibusuki, Kagoshima, is dedicated to Toyotamahime (Otohime-sama), who is located at Nagasakihana, the birthplace of the Ryugu legend⛩️
Nagasakihana is a cape that juts out from the southernmost tip of the Satsuma Peninsula, and the view of Mt. Kaimon across the sea is spectacular, and on a clear day you can even see Yakushima and Iwo Jima!! ☀️
It is said to be a shrine for matchmaking, as it is the shrine where the guardian deity of the sea and the god of matchmaking where Urashima Taro and Otohime met 🥰💕
