Discovered in Ibusuki! Local Cuisine (Kagoshima Trip #5)

I didn't have a specific image of Ibusuki's local food, so I decided to wander around and pick a restaurant that caught my eye 🍹

Since arriving in Kagoshima, I've been curious about a certain type of seasoning with a name similar to katsuobushi (bonito flakes)—though I can't quite remember the name 💦. I ended up ordering a Japanese-style pasta mixed with that seasoning and small fish. It turned out to be a hit—it was absolutely delicious! The seasoning was generously sprinkled, giving it a nice crunch and a subtle ocean aroma. The dish also included ham, green onions, and seaweed, adding to the Japanese-style flavor 🥢.

The seaside location made the meal even more enjoyable—no wonder it tasted so good 😋.

I didn't realize dessert was included, so when a slice of cake 🍰 was served after the meal, my excitement soared ⤴️. Traveling without rigid plans and just going with the flow turned out to be both fun and delicious ☺️.
