I walked through Yoro Valley, in the middle of the Boso Peninsula in Chiba Prefecture.
We had to turn back halfway along the Awamatano Falls promenade due to a slope collapse. Still, it was quite walkable. In early December the leaves have finished falling (though some still remain) so your feet are likely to get wet.
We also took a leaf-peeping cruise on Kameyama Lake. Nomizo Falls, which looks like a heart, apparently also looks like a heart in the mornings in March and September.
I'd like to walk there in the summer as well, as it seems to be full of negative ions.
