On the way down after visiting Hozanji, when my legs and mind were a little tired, a teahouse door quietly opened.

There was no big sign or fancy exterior, but as soon as I opened the wooden door, I felt warm breath inside.

An old wooden table, a window frame with traces of time, and an old lady sitting quietly.

While waiting for a cup of matcha, I felt like the noisy world outside the door was getting farther and farther away.

The matcha was bitter and warm, and the small confectionery that came with it was as refreshing as my mood that day.

This place was not just a place to drink tea, but a place to stop and catch my breath.

In this quiet teahouse following the prayer at Hozanji, I was finally able to slow down the pace of my trip.
