📍Hozanji Temple

**Hozanji (宝山寺)**, located on the slope of Mt. Ikoma, is a temple with a unique atmosphere where nature, faith, and tradition come together.

When you take the cable car from the train station, you will be greeted by a scenery that feels like entering a mystical world.

The grounds are quite spacious, and the atmosphere with red lanterns and the strong scent of incense shows the Japanese tradition of mixing Shinto and Buddhism.

Although it is a Buddhist temple, it also has a shrine-like feel, so it had a unique and mysterious charm.

If you go up the stairs, you will see a wide open view, a five-story pagoda, and a large Buddha statue, and there were even small spaces where you could throw amulets, ema, and coins, all meticulously decorated.

It was a meditative place where you could calm your mind rather than a tourist attraction. The quiet atmosphere created by the mountains, fog, and temple will remain in your memory for a long time.
