Shinminato Fisherman's Market

To get there, take the Manyo Line tram from Takasaki Station in the Hokuriku North area for about 40 minutes. Get off at Higashi-Shinminato Station and walk for approximately 10 minutes to reach Shinminato Fisherman's Market. This market not only sells fresh seafood from Toyama Bay but also features several affordable eateries where you can enjoy local seafood specialties.

After a satisfying meal, you might consider walking for about 20 minutes to Kaiwomaru Park to see the Shinminato Bridge and the New Port Bridge. Alternatively, you can return to Higashi-Shinminato Station and take the tram for one stop to Kaiwomaru Station or two stops to Etchu-Nakagawa Station.
