A Winter Leisure I Wandered Alone at Incheon Freedom Park

On the afternoon of February 22nd, I visited Incheon Freedom Park and enjoyed some leisure time in the quiet winter scenery. This place, which has historical significance as Korea's first Western-style park, has lush trees and wide walking paths, making it feel relaxing just to walk. In particular, the statue of General MacArthur located in the center of the park reminded me of the history of the Korean War and gave me a deep impression.

📌 Points for solo travelers

Hidden spot: Panoramic view of Incheon Port from the top of the park → Great place to take pictures

Recommended experience: Spend some quiet time reading on a bench in the park

Recommended snack: Warm citron tea (5,500 won) sold at the 'Jayu Cafe' at the entrance of the park

🚨 Notes

Dress warmly as the wind is strong in winter

Wear comfortable shoes as there are many hills

Quiet viewing is essential near the statue

At around 5 o'clock, I finished the day by taking pictures of the trees in the park in the sunset. I thought I would like to come back in the spring to see the flowers blooming. I don't know if I can come because it's so far away, lol!!🌸
