History, Vibes, and a Whole Lotta Calm

#summervacay Finally made my way out to Jeondeungsa Temple, and it’s a total reset button. The walk up is super chill, with stone paths, trees, and that quiet forest energy that makes you instantly relax. It’s not really a hike, more of a peaceful stroll with some old-school charm waiting at the end.

The temple itself? Straight-up stunning. You’ve got colorful details, centuries-old vibes, and this calm atmosphere that kinda makes you whisper without meaning to. There’s history all over the place, but it doesn’t feel heavy, it’s just cool and grounding. I wandered around, lit some incense, sat under a tree for a bit, and just soaked it all in.

Tons of little spots to stop and chill, plus some great photo ops if you're into that. Didn’t feel touristy or crowded either, which made it even better. Whether you’re into temples, nature, or just need a quiet afternoon to reset your brain, Jeondeungsa is absolutely worth the trip. Bring comfy shoes, a snack, and an open mind. You’ll leave feeling lighter.
