The momentum after winning big in Indonesia was incredible

Just finished my trip to Indonesia and I realized that the happiness of traveling comes from the little details! 📦 I thought I was fully prepared before departure, but only upon arrival did I find some small things that really saved me. I've organized all the pitfalls I encountered and treasures I found for my sisters🌸
.
【3 Must-Know Things Before the Trip】
1⃣ AirAsia’s luggage limit is way too strict! 7kg is really not enough for girls. I pre-purchased a 20kg luggage allowance on the official website and saved over 300. Buying it on-site costs twice as much and you have to wait in long lines.
2⃣ Island outfit golden formula: sun protection shirt + quick-dry camisole + soft-soled shoes. During the volcano hike, I sweated through 3 T-shirts. This combo is breathable and sun-protective.
3⃣ Download offline maps in advance. Signal on Penida Island is like a roller coaster. The Google Maps offline package saved me 3 times.
【Practical Travel Essentials List】
1⃣ Portable foldable water bottle + thermos cup. The hotel kettle had suspicious scale buildup, so boiling my own water for tea was much safer. The big temperature difference between morning and evening made drinking warm water super soothing.
2⃣ Mini first aid kit (important❗)
Seasickness medicine + iodine swabs + mosquito repellent
The fast boat to Lembongan Island was like a pirate ship. Taking medicine half an hour early saved me from vomiting.
Using saline to rinse eyes irritated by volcanic ash was super convenient.
3⃣ Waterproof phone case + neck strap
At Penida’s Angel Beach, when huge waves crashed ashore, my phone swung on my neck while I took photos.

【Volcano Viewing Spot Guide】
📍Penanjakan Viewpoint 1: Wrapped in a thick rental coat at 3 a.m., watching the pink dawn spread over the volcanoes. The camera can’t capture even a tenth of the beauty.
📍Kingkong Hill: The famous crooked tree requires a half-hour wait. Actually, 200 meters ahead there’s a volcanic rock perfect for silhouette shots with an apocalyptic vibe.
📍Seruni Point: At a height where you can almost touch the sea of clouds. Remember to bring wet wipes! Volcanic ash sticks to eyelashes and it itches terribly.

【Words from Experience】
✅ Bring enough 10,000 IDR bills. Many restrooms charge 3,000 IDR per person. It’s super awkward if you don’t have change.
✅ Bring a USB port adapter to charge your phone, power bank, and camera simultaneously. Bali sockets often have poor contact.
✅ Bring several sealable bags for wet swimsuits or ash-covered jackets. Your luggage won’t turn into a disaster on the way back.
.
This 6-person small group tour was amazing🌺 The guide was like a real-life Google Map, leading us on shortcuts to catch sunsets and unlocking a local secret durian stall where I ate until I burped for just 20,000 IDR!

Feel free to ask any questions about the details. Wishing all my sisters a perfect trip~
