Golden Trees & Desert Vibes. Ejin Banner Totally Blew My Mind

#chinatravel Ejin Banner is seriously one of the coolest (and most random) places I’ve ever explored. I went during poplar tree season in the fall and OMG, it felt like walking through a golden dream. The leaves were this crazy bright yellow, glowing in the sunlight like something out of a fairytale. I couldn't stop taking pics.

The vibe is super chill too. Not super touristy, which made it feel even more magical. You can wander through the forest, ride camels near the desert dunes, and check out some really cool ruins like the Black City. It’s this wild mix of nature and history, and it just works.

Getting there takes a bit of effort, but once you’re in Ejin, everything’s super laid back and easy to explore. The sunsets over the desert? UNREAL. If you're anywhere near Inner Mongolia in the fall, don't sleep on this place. Trust me, it’s absolutely worth it. Golden leaves + desert breeze = perfection.
