A Picturesque Sightseeing Attraction in Ipoh

Gunung Lang is located in Jalan Kuala Kangsar, only 5 kilometers from Ipoh town and close to the North South Highway exit to Ipoh. It's one of the many limestone mountains in Ipoh, Perak. This previously tin mining sites turned into a recreational area by the Ipoh City Council with collaboration of the Ministry of Tourism in 1999. It holds a recreational park, 3 artificial lakes and a man-made waterfall which atop a limestone hill, cascading down into the lake below. Its all look naturally, the peaceful and picturesque scenic really impressed me!
Visitors can take a boat ride(just a couple of minutes) to the recreation park which is located at the opposite side of lake. Just RM3 for aldult and RM1.50 for children/senior citizen. Open daily from 8.30am - 6.00pm.
