Ipoh in a Flash: Art, Eats & Escapes

Just a 2-hour drive from Kuala Lumpur, Ipoh is a charming town bursting with culture and art. One of the highlights of our trip was exploring its vibrant mural art scene, especially the iconic works by Ernest Zacharevic — the Paper Plane, Kopi Break, and Garbage Collector.

And of course, no trip to Ipoh is complete without indulging in its local delights. We savoured the famous Ipoh Hor Fun, tender chicken rice, and crispy prawn crackers — a must-try combo for any food lover!

Ipoh may be small, but it’s full of heart — perfect for a weekend of wander, snap, and savour.
