PLAYING TOURIST AT PENANG 🏝️

During our stay at Mercure Penang, the hotel's comfort and elegance set the perfect tone for our Penang adventure. We began with a delightful breakfast at Biru Biru Resort Café, enjoying the serene beach views and fresh pastries.

Eager to explore, we headed to George Town, where the vibrant streets brimmed with colorful murals and colonial architecture. We savored the famous nasi kandar at a bustling local eatery, relishing the aromatic rice and rich curries.

Our afternoon was spent wandering through George Town's charming alleys, discovering antique shops and quaint temples. Each corner of the city revealed a piece of its rich history.

In the evening, we visited Padang Kota Lama, a lively spot known for its street food. We indulged in pasembor, a delicious Malaysian Indian salad with spicy peanut sauce, enjoying the mix of textures and flavors.

Returning to Mercure Penang, we felt fulfilled by the day's experiences. The hotel's cozy ambiance was the perfect end to a day of exploration and culinary delights. Penang had truly captured our hearts. #familytrips2024
