I had the pleasure of dining at Nifayyi Warung & Kafe recently with local friends, and it turned out to be one of the most enjoyable culinary experiences I’ve had in a while.
This charming cafe is situated in Taman Fair Park in Ipoh, is quite popular and earns excellent reviews. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the decor strikes a lovely balance between rustic charm and modern touches, creating a cozy yet stylish ambiance perfect for a relaxed gathering.
The menu offered a great selection of local favorites and unique western fusion dishes, and it was clear that everything was prepared with care. We tried several dishes, and each one had its own distinctive flavour profile, fresh, and beautifully presented. The Salted Egg Yolk Chicken Rice & Chargrill Chicken Chop with Spaghetti in particular stood out, flavourful and addictive. Whether it was the Nasi Udang Penyet, Spaghetti Chicken Mushroom Carbonara, Cream of Mushroom Soup, or their signature drinks & dessertd, everything hit the spot.
Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The staff made us feel right at home, happy to offer suggestions and ensure we were comfortable throughout the meal.
What made the night even better was sharing the experience with local friends who knew the best things to order, adding a personal touch and a deeper appreciation of the dishes and their cultural significance.
