The Ishigaki City Yaeyama Museum showcases Yaeyama archaeology, history, arts and crafts, and ethnic culture.

The wide-ranging exhibits allow visitors to learn about not only land-based but also maritime culture and history.

Admission is ¥200.

Business hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Closed on Mondays, public holidays (or the following day if a public holiday falls on a Monday), New Year's (December 29th to January 3rd), and days for fumigation and exhibit changeovers.

Located in a commercial area, the museum is within walking distance of Euglena Mall and Euglena Ishigaki Port Remote Island Terminal, making it easily accessible for tourists!
