Ishigaki Island, Okinawa. "Nmamiiwa" and "Akauma Monument" (Akauma Park)

These are the "Nmmamiishi" and "Red Horse Monument" (Akauma Park) on the hilltop of Miyara, Ishigaki Island.

The statue and monument of the red horse are the place where the red horse presented to the Ryukyu Dynasty was sent off.

The red horse is also sung about in Yaeyama folk songs.

Located on the hilltop of the "Miyara District" along National Route 390, the location overlooking Miyara Bay is a very scenic spot!

200m from the "Miyara Nishi" bus stop
