Comparing champuru on Ishigaki Island.

I love champuru.

I especially love bitter melon.

Whenever I had free time on Ishigaki Island, I ate champuru.

Each restaurant had its own unique style, and the set meals were reasonably priced.

① Set meal "Iwa"

A restaurant run by a friendly couple.

It was bustling with local regulars.

They would talk to me a lot even if I was traveling alone.

I liked the food and the hospitality.

② "Kabsa Shokudo"

It's a little far from the port terminal, but the view on the opposite shore is truly tropical.

I was excited to walk all the way here and see the scenery, which is different from Honshu.

It's open from the morning, so you can easily use it.
The menu is extensive and the portions are generous.
I went there before crossing over to Kuroshima.
