The atmosphere of the Ryukyu Kingdom era

A great stop on Ishigaki Island is the Yaima Village theme park, where clusters of well-preserved houses evoke the atmosphere of the Ryukyu Kingdom era. The wildlife, especially the local squirrel monkeys, will remind you of your tropical surroundings. Yaima Village and most of the attractions in Ishigaki Island. There is a small fee of around 1,000 yen to enter the village. This traditional village consists of many old houses with distinctive red roofs. A well-preserved Okinawan village Some houses have been relocated here and carefully rebuilt. The staff were friendly and it was a relaxing place to walk around.
