Okinawa, Ishigaki Island. A single mangrove tree in Nagura Bay, where mangroves grow alone are rare.

I heard that many tourists stop by the "Single Mangrove in Nagura Bay".

Why is this "mangrove" so popular?

I asked the locals, and they said that when we say "mangrove", we mean a group of "mangrove trees" (a dense cluster), and that the sight of a single mangrove tree growing independently is rare and popular.

To make it easier to understand, I also took a photo of the dense mangrove trees near the "Single Mangrove" in Nagura Bay.

You can see many mangroves (mangroves) around Nagura Bay.

Also, around the "Single Mangrove", you can see a phenomenon called the "green flash" just before the sun sets a few times a year😊

You can enjoy the completely different appearance depending on the tides and the time of day.
