More impressive than a guidebook. Kabira Bay.

Kabira Bay often appears on the cover of guidebooks for Ishigaki Island.

I had always thought it was a heavily edited, fabricated view, like the ones you often see in photos.

When I actually saw it in front of me, it was truly blue and beautiful.

The color of the blue changes depending on the time of day, so it's a view I want to look at forever.

If you ride a glass-bottom boat, you can see the underwater creatures.

You can also view it from a nearby cafe.
