Scenic road via Malakand Pass and lush hills

Day trip to Kalam Valley or Malam Jabba (ski lift + zip line)
Optional: Visit Mahodand Lake (4x4 required)
Enjoy local food, rivers, and pine forests

Day 5: Drive to Hunza Valley

Long scenic drive to Hunza via Besham/Chilas (12–14 hrs) OR
Option: Take a short flight from Islamabad to Gilgit (if available), then drive to Hunza (2–3 hrs)
Enjoy Attabad Lake views along the way
Overnight: Hunza (Karimabad)
Day 6: Explore Hunza

Visit: Altit Fort, Baltit Fort, Duikar (Eagle’s Nest viewpoint), Passu Cones
Optional: Day trip to Khunjerab Pass (Pak-China border)
Overnight: Hunza
Day 7: Drive to Skardu

Travel to Skardu (via Gilgit-Skardu Road – 5–7 hrs)
Scenic drive along the Indus River
Overnight: Skardu
Day 8: Explore Skardu

Visit: Shigar Fort, Upper Kachura Lake, Cold Desert
Optional: Day trip to Deosai Plains (seasonal, 4x4 needed)
Overnight: Skardu
Day 9: Fly or Drive Back to Islamabad

Take a morning flight from Skardu to Islamabad (weather dependent)
