This building is considered a combination of the best architecture of two great civilizations in history, the Roman Empire and the Ottoman Empire. You can see from the Western architecture, the grandeur of the church, which is large and decorated with a beautiful blue roof. The interior is decorated with blue tiles from Iznik and floral patterns such as roses, tulips, carnations, etc.
The Blue Mosque is open every day. People are allowed to enter to pray 24 hours a day. When visiting any mosque, you must remove your shoes, hat, and sunglasses to show respect for the place. Those who enter to pray must first cleanse 6 areas: hair, face, nose, mouth, hands, and feet. In addition, during some tourist seasons, there will be a free light and sound show.
